ROSA, CUTTING-EDGE MEDICAL ROBOTIC TECHNOLOGY
Créative France is a story, but it’s also about combining fields of expertise on a quest to develop innovations that can improve quality of life on a daily basis. It’s about cooperation; in ROSA’s case between medical and robotics experts.
It’s the story of cutting-edge medical robotic technology by MedTech: ROSA is a robotic surgical assistant with a host of applications, designed to improve precision and reliability during neurosurgical procedures. This engineering masterpiece works a bit like a GPS for the brain, and can be used for any type of procedure that requires pre-surgical planning from preparatory data, mapping of the patient’s anatomy, and/or precise positioning and handling of surgical instruments. ROSA is also about MedTech, founded by Bertin Nahum, who has developed seven competitive hubs within his company devoted to the pharmaceutical and biotech industries. He has played an important role in earning France its number one position in the WHO’s ranking of the best healthcare systems worldwide. It’s the story of a French robot designed by and for humans.
